Who are Kit & Kin?
Kit & Kin is a family brand co-founded by Emma Bunton and product expert Christopher Money. They create award-winning, gentle, eco-conscious essentials, including nappies, wipes and skincare for babies and parents.
Why has Kids Planet partnered with Kit & Kin?
Because we want products that are gentle for little ones and genuinely planet conscious. Kit & Kin aligns with our sustainability goals through independent standards and transparent practices. In short: great for sensitive skin, credible on eco, and clear about what’s inside.
What does this mean for my child day-to-day?
Your little one will use Kit & Kin nappies and wipes in nursery. They’re soft, gentle on sensitive skin, and designed for reliable leak protection so your child stays comfy during play, naps, and mealtimes.
Will the nappies perform as well as our current brand?
They’re designed for dryness and comfort with excellent absorbency to distribute wetness, helping prevent sagging and offering up to 12-hour leak protection. Our team changes nappies regularly and will keep a close eye on size, fit and comfort.
Are the nappies suitable for sensitive skin or eczema-prone skin?
Yes. Kit & Kin nappies are hypoallergenic, dermatologically tested and AllergyUK Certified. They’re made without chlorine, latex, perfumes or parabens. Wipes are Allergy UK approved and made with 99% water.
Are they biodegradable or compostable?
No disposable nappy is 100% biodegradable. Please dispose of used nappies in general waste, following local guidance. Good news: Kit & Kin nappy sacks are fully compostable and biodegradable, and nappy packs are in 100% recyclable paper.
What’s in the products, and where can I see the full ingredients list?
Kit & Kin publishes full ingredients for nappies, wipes, nappy sacks and skincare, including the Magic Salve we'll be using in nursery on the Kit & Kin website (listed on each product page).
Will fees or what I need to bring change?
There’s no fee change because of this partnership.
What if my child shows any irritation or I prefer a different product?
Your child’s comfort comes first. We’ll tell you straight away, record any skin changes, and agree next steps. If we need to switch products for your child, we will.
Is this partnership better for the environment?
Yes! Kit & Kin focuses on reducing plastic, using plant-based materials where possible, and fully recyclable paper packaging. Our use of the range also supports Kit & Kin’s ongoing conservation work with trusted environmental partners.
When is this rolling out?
We’re piloting Kit & Kin in selected nurseries in November 2025, with the aim to expand more widely in 2026. We'll keep you updated along the way.
Is there anything I need to do?
No - nothing at all. We’ll sort everything at your nursery and keep you updated if anything changes.
Who do I speak to with questions?
Your nursery manager or your child’s key person. We’re here to help and to make any reasonable adjustments your family needs.
